Everything in one place, without everyone seeing everything

Decide who sees financials, salaries and private projects, with roles for your team, freelancers and advisors, and permissions you can set per person.

All-in-one needs a lock on the door

Putting proposals, time, clients and money in one place is the point. But it means salaries, margins and day rates sit next to the task list.

Most people on your team don’t need to see those, and some shouldn’t. Freelancers need their work, not your client list.

Rofinery gives each person a role, then lets you fine-tune what that role, or that one person, can see and do.

Access that fits how agencies work

Start from sensible defaults, then adjust.

Five roles to start from

Owners and admins see everything. Contributors work in the areas you allow and never see salaries. Freelancers see only the work they're assigned. Advisors get read-only reports and financials.

Permissions you can adjust

Turn individual permissions on or off for a role, override them for one person, apply a preset, or reset to the defaults. There are 77 of them, grouped by area.

Money and salaries kept apart

Financial figures need their own permission, and salaries need another. People without salary access never receive salary data at all.

Private projects stay private

Only admins, the project manager and project members can see a private project. In shared time reports, its hours count but its details are hidden.

Questions about roles and permissions

Not new roles, but you can change what each of the five roles can do, and override permissions for individual people.

No. Salary data needs its own permission, which only admins have by default.

Only the projects and tasks they're assigned to, on their own dashboard. Financial and report permissions can't be given to freelancers.

Yes. Reset a role, or one person, back to the default permissions at any time.
