Projects that start from what you sold

Plan the work from the approved proposal, keep track of what the client owes you, and see where every project stands without opening each one.

The plan and the budget never meet

In most agencies, the project plan lives in one tool and the budget lives in another. The tasks don’t know what was sold. The timesheet doesn’t know which task the hours were for.

So a project looks on track right up until someone pulls the numbers. By then, the overrun has already happened.

Rofinery keeps the plan, the budget and the time on the same project, so you can see a problem while there’s still time to fix it.

Everything a project needs, in one place

One project holds the tasks, the timeline, the client's to-do list, the files and the money.

Tasks built from the proposal

Approve a proposal and its deliverables become tasks, with each line item as a subtask carrying its hours. See the same work as a list, a board, a kanban by status, or a Gantt chart.

A timeline your client can see

Drag tasks to reschedule them, add milestones with owners, and share a read-only Gantt chart with your client by link.

Track what the client owes you

List the content, access and sign-offs you're waiting on. Your client gets one page to send them back, and you're told when something arrives.

See hours against budget as you go

Time logged on the project's tasks rolls up to the proposal, so you can see hours, costs and profit while the project's still running.

Spot the projects that need you

The projects overview picks out work that's overdue, milestones that are slipping, profitability at risk, and projects with no manager, no end date or tasks nobody's assigned to.

Questions about projects

Yes. Create a project and add the tasks yourself. Linking an approved proposal is what brings in the hours and the budget.

The proposals, task groups, subtasks, checklists, task dependencies and files. Time entries, comments, milestones, expenses, assignees and dates are left behind, and copied proposals go back to not approved.

Team owners and admins, the project manager and anyone added to the project. Nobody else sees it in lists or reports.

Not all of it. You can share a read-only Gantt chart by link, and a page listing what you need from them. Everything else stays internal.
